Tasting Notes:
After a wet and fairly mild winter, we proceeded with a near perfect growing season throughout the summer months. October brought on some heat to complete our fruit ripening. We continue to make a full bodied wine, with intense dark color. Tastes of dark dark cherry and chocolate and a bouquet of dark rich fruit. Even and balanced tannins on the palate. Will pair nicely with food. Ready to drink now and will hold for years.
With over 7000 entries, the prestigious San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition is one of the most competitive blind wine tasting events in the country. Our Steelemack Cabernet Sauvignon medaled again for the third year in a row in this competition. A testament to our great wine making team!
