Oak Knoll District of Napa Valley AVA is a near perfect location for producing exceptional cabernet sauvignon wines. The vineyard, originally planted in 2000, is a block of Clone 337-- a classic Bordeaux style Cabernet Sauvignon vine. Our first vintage, Steelemack Cabernet Sauvignon 2010, we produced a small number of cases and released it in the Spring of 2014 with warm accolades. Each vintage reflects the subtleties of the terroir, the fruit, and the growing season of each particular year. In the end, our wine will tell a story of the Red Walnut Vineyard.
